PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Assist the POS PrEM (Project Engineering Manager) in his role of performing the POS engineering activities of a traction project for the following disciplines : high voltage, medium voltage, traction voltage, low voltage.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Key accountabilities

- Perform the high voltage / medium voltage / traction / low voltage basic engineering activities of a project or program:

- Provide electrical architectures, technical specifications, functional specifications and interface specifications,

- Provide calculation notes,

- Ensure the technical validation of the supplier’s equipment offers,

- Perform the high voltage / medium voltage / traction / low voltage detailed engineering activities of a project or program:

- Follow-up and validation of the technical drawings from the equipment supplier,

- Provide the factory test procedures of the equipment,

- Participate at the factory acceptance tests of the equipment.

- Assist the POS design Leader for coordination / interfaces with:

- The POS engineering team (including automation and installation teams),

- The others sub-systems of the project, particularly: Systems, civil works, SCADA, catenary, return current, EMC, earthing & bonding, etc...

- The customer,

- The project management team,

- The suppliers, the subcontractors, and the partners.

- Provide technical support to Field Operations (Installation and Test and Commissioning) teams with regards to design issues.

- Participate (if requested) to the As-built documentation drawings modifications.

- Participate to the REX (Return of Experience) of the project/program.

- On-time delivering: 100%

- Respect of Design For Quality milestones: 100% Go On Time, in accordance with the standards or rules of his Metier

- Respect of performances of the system provided: 100%

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

- Education : Graduate from Engineering school in electrical science

- Experience : A minimum of 05 years of experience in electrical engineering ( railway transportation)

- Good knowledge of electrical installation (high voltage, medium voltage and low voltage)

- Skills : Autonomy, motivated, initiative, and interested in technical topics

- Language : Fluent English, Arabic/French is desirable.
