Channel Planning Analyst

As Channel Planning Analyst, you will create forecasts for and manage inventory levels of parts & accessories at Pacific Delivery Hubs, Regional Distribution Centers, Service Centers and Body Shops worldwide, be involved in the design of process improvements and next generation planning systems and perform data analytics for Global Service Supply Chain Operations. Channel Planning are the team responsible for forecasting parts and accessories to support Tesla’s customers from factory gate onwards.

Working with colleagues in global headquarters, you will implement process improvements and next generation planning systems, and perform data analytics for Global Service Supply Chain Operations The role is highly visible due to the scope of responsibility and impact.. It is essential that you can think strategically, connecting the dots in the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverable's. To be a successful candidate for this role you be an energetic, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

- Create forecasts for and manage inventory levels of service parts & accessories across Regional Distribution Centers, Service Centers and Body Shops worldwide to support service demand, minimize freight costs, and optimize inventory levels
- Perform analysis and management of day-to-day functions that will enable the parts planning team to take on a more strategic role with the expansion of the APAC region such as new market launch, driving cost reductions and improving overall supply.
- Liaise with Local and APAC distribution and planning leaders to establish business requirements for any of the above-mentioned services.
- Maintain channel planning master data parameters to ensure accurate demand signals.
- Manage MRP planning process on daily basis to maintain healthy inventory level.
- Manage order process against external suppliers based at various regions.
- Maintain ah-hoc demand to satisfy service-related campaigns.
- Maintain high instant order fulfillment KPI across national supply chain matrix.
- Work fluidly in a highly cross-functional team environment involving Production, Procurement, Logistics & Distribution, and Field Operations as well as Packaging Engineering, and Conveyance personnel.
- Continuously improve Channel Planning forecast accuracy, service level, and fill rate KPIs.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability.
- Bilingual English / Mandarin advantage is highly preferred.
- 5+ years related experience in planning, materials management, or supply-chain planning in global manufacturing organization.
- Strong background and experience in forecasting, advanced planning analytics and data science.
- Proficient in MS Excel required; ERP/WRP systems, SQL, and data visualization programs such as Tableau are preferred.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks based on demand despite changes in work scope or focus.
- Open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude with the ability to think outside the box for solutions to complex challenges.
- Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and a passion for being hands-on in their work.
- Strong capability and willingness to learn AI tool to develop and improve workflow efficiency and boost process by new initiatives.
