Cost & Finance Accountant
Location: Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan
Salary: RM8,000 – RM10,000 per month
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts, monthly closing, financial statements, and management reports.
- Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Prepare and analyse product costing, standard vs. actual costs, manufacturing variances, and gross profit margins.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock counts, production wastage, BOM accuracy, and manufacturing costs.
- Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, financial controls, and accounting processes.
- Utilise SAP Business One to monitor financial, inventory, production, and costing transactions.
- Handle tax compliance, SST, e-Invoice, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities.
- Supervise the Finance/Accounts team and work closely with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Sales departments.
- Prepare periodic financial, costing, inventory, and KPI reports for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong costing knowledge.
- Experience using SAP Business One, particularly Finance and Costing modules; MM knowledge is an advantage.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CMA are an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
Working Conditions
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
- Willingness to travel to the Kuala Lumpur Head Office when required.
