CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Fontana, CA
Earn $19.25 per hour plus $18.71 per qualifying stop hauling intermodal containers throughout the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area. Based out of the San Bernardino yard , this position offers daily home time with a 10-hour break, multiple loads per day, and night-shift schedule options.

Job Details
- Dedicated local intermodal operation
- Haul containers secured on chassis
- Approximately 3–6 loads per day
- Routes throughout the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area, including San Bernardino, Fontana, Ontario, Riverside, and nearby communities
- Some runs travel north through the Grapevine toward Shafter and Lebec
- Mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight
- Slip-seat operation; trucks remain at the San Bernardino yard
- Routes are assigned through an automatic dispatch system
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Hazmat endorsement may be required for applicable loads; confirm account requirements before applying
- Must be comfortable with night driving, multiple daily loads, and assigned routes
