Senior Manager - Artificial Intelligence

Role Purpose
As Senior Manager - Artifical Intelligence at Accelya, you will manage the AI engineering team, overseeing model development and driving AI engineering practices that ensure Accelya's AI capabilities deliver outstanding airline customer value.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the AI/ML engineering team, providing technical direction and people management
• Define AI/ML engineering standards, MLOps practices and model governance frameworks
• Oversee model development across airline domain AI applications, ensuring quality, reliability and ethical AI use
• Partner with product, engineering and data leadership on AI product strategy and technical feasibility
• Drive responsible AI practices, including bias monitoring, explainability and model transparency
• Report on AI engineering performance and strategic initiatives to the CTO and CPO
Required Experience & Skills
• 6–10 years of AI/ML experience with at least 3 years managing ML engineering teams
• Proven track record of delivering production AI/ML systems at scale
• Deep expertise in ML engineering, LLMs and responsible AI governance
• Strong leadership and product-technology collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's or PhD preferred
Preferred Experience & Skills
• Proven experience building and leading teams delivering production LLM and ML applications in enterprise software
• Deep knowledge of how AI is transforming the airline technology competitive landscape, including FLYR's AI-first approach, PROS AI pricing intelligence and Amadeus AI capabilities
• Track record of using AI engineering analytics to demonstrate product AI value and drive responsible AI governance
• Understanding of how agentic AI will reshape airline software products and what engineering capability is needed to lead in this space
