- Strategic and operational management of the Risk Management team with end-to-end responsibility for fund and KVG risk management of UniCredit Invest Alternatives GmbH, with a strong focus on leading, mentoring and developing the team, driving high performance, effective resource allocation and operational excellence within the Risk function.
- Ensure effective risk oversight of the existing portfolio across the relevant asset classes, while continuously developing the Risk function to support the future product, growth and internationalisation strategy of UCIA.
- Take a leading role in the risk assessment, design, launch and ongoing enhancement of new fund and investment products, particularly across alternative and increasingly liquid investment strategies.
- Develop, maintain, enhance and continuously adapt the Risk Management Framework, policies and risk inventory for all managed funds (AIFs and UCITS) and the KVG, ensuring consistency with regulatory requirements and the evolving business model.
- Oversee liquidity, market, counterparty, operational and valuation risks across various asset classes and ensure appropriate methodologies, limits, monitoring and escalation processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate internal risk reporting to senior management and boards as well as external regulatory reporting, including BaFin, Bundesbank and Annex IV requirements.
- Act as a key independent Risk advisor in investment and acquisition processes, providing well-founded risk assessments, challenge and recommendations to management and investment teams.

- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities and practical experience with Risk Management systems, models, and data.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgement, provide constructive challenge and operate effectively in an international organization.
- Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills and experience in a German regulatory environment are a strong advantage.
