Manager, Warehouse
Job Description:
Fixed Shift: Mondays to Fridays (8.30am to 5.30pm)
This position will be based under our specialty group, NIC Components located at 5 Tai Seng Drive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for the day-to-day functions of Logistics or Value Add department(s), ensuring goals are met or exceeded
- Supervise day to day operation of a single department (receiving, storing, picking, shipping, special handling) within the distribution/value add center consisting of non-exempt tactical personnel.
- To Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff of Arrow Cores & NIC Components Operation
- To liaise with company appointed freight/transportation service provide on SG local delivery arrangement
- To manage the warehouse staff performance in Employee Performance Rating
- To Communicate with Arrow Internal customer; Sales/CSR on order fulfillment arrangement and provide solution to meet Arrow's Customer expectation
- To assist Senior Manager to manage and control the operating cost to meet the annual budget target
- To design and implement the performance KPI of the warehouse staff
- Understand the SG import & export rules/regulation in order to assist the internal & external customer requirement
- Understand the LC/Sight Draft term of shipment and its bank documentation submission process
- Understand the Strategies Control Parts requirement under the SG custom requirement
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations with leadership responsibilities
- Computer skills to be able to execute ERP / WMS system transactions are required.
- Good working attitude.
