Job Description
1. Optical System Design and Development:
- Design and develop optical components and modules (such as optical transceiver modules, fiber optic connectors, etc.) for network communication equipment based on product requirements.
2. Optical Component Performance Verification:
- Develop and execute testing plans for optical components, analyze test data, and ensure product performance meets standards.
- Assist in establishing optical equipment testing procedures, and continuously optimize testing methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Streamline, optimize, and standardize processes, and continuously improve workflows to achieve process stability.
3. Optical System Integration and Problem Solving:
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and calibrate optical modules with electronic systems.
- Analyze and provide solutions for optical technical issues encountered during the production process.
- Develop and implement equipment maintenance plans, manage spare parts systems, and reduce equipment failure rates.
- Assist in the automation of equipment, reduce manual operations, lower labor costs, and improve product quality.
4. Technical Research and Innovation:
- Track new optical technologies and industry trends, and assess their feasibility for application in network communication products.
- Participate in technical discussions, propose innovative designs or improvement suggestions to enhance product competitiveness.
- Evaluate and verify new equipment, organize and assist with report documentation.
5. Cross-Departmental Technical Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product managers, hardware, firmware, and testing teams to participate in requirements specification discussions and feasibility assessments.
- Write technical documents to ensure traceability and maintainability of optical design solutions.
- Communicate across departments/factories, build consensus, and lead the team forward.
- Respond to customer and related system certifications/audits (IFT16949/QC80000/ISO9001, etc.).
6. Project Coordination and Knowledge Sharing:
- Coordinate optical-related work progress and resources in projects, and provide technical guidance and experience sharing to junior colleagues.
