About Singapore ADC Site:

Be part of history in the making. AstraZeneca is building its first biologics manufacturing campus in Singapore — a groundbreaking USD 1.5 billion investment that will serve as a global hub for innovation and excellence.

This innovative facility will deliver end-to-end Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) capabilities with different manufacturing units/buildings in one campus:

- Small molecule- chemical API production
- Large molecule- monoclonal antibody manufacturing
- Conjugation
- Fill-and-finish operations, including sterile filling and lyophilization
- Final secondary packaging

The campus will be equipped with innovative digital and automation infrastructure, enabling autonomous manufacturing powered by artificial intelligence. In addition, it will be designed for carbon neutrality, embedding sustainability into every aspect of operations and setting a new benchmark for environmentally responsible biologic's manufacturing.

In Manufacturing Science and Technology Team, we are looking for passionate individuals with relevant experience who thrive in dynamic environments and bring a “make-it-happen” attitude. Joining us means contributing to a project that will not only transform AstraZeneca’s global supply chain but also advance life-changing medicines for patients everywhere.

If you’re ready to shape the future of biologics and be part of a once-in-a-generation project, we want you on our team.

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to apply scientific rigor and data-driven insight to strengthen manufacturing processes that deliver life-changing medicines to patients faster? Do you thrive at the intersection of technology transfer, validation, and real-time process monitoring, turning complex data into clear action?

As an MSAT Specialist, you will reinforce process robustness across biologics, API, and fill-finish operations, directly shaping consistent product quality and reliable supply. You will drive process validation, control strategy implementation, and continued process verification, using evidence-based decisions to keep our facilities inspection-ready and our product supply on time.

Working within a collaborative technology transfer team, you will partner closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and global technical experts. You will help translate new and complex modalities into scalable, compliant manufacturing, using Lean methods and digital tools to accelerate how we deliver therapies with speed and confidence.

- Issue Resolution and Customer Engagement: Resolve technical issues within your area and facilitate multi-functional problem-solving for complex challenges with clear, timely communication.
- Systems, Equipment, and Compliance: Apply knowledge of manufacturing systems, equipment, and regulatory requirements to drive compliant, efficient operations and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge Sharing and Standardization: Share lessons learned and standard methodologies to build team capability and promote consistent ways of working across sites and partners.
- Change Execution and Risk Mitigation: Execute approved process changes and risk actions, and implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance robustness and efficiency.
- Alignment to Priorities: Align technical activities with operational, quality, and business priorities to support reliable supply and strategic objectives.
- External Collaboration: Partner with suppliers, engineers, and external customers to investigate issues and implement agreed solutions that strengthen the end-to-end value chain.
- Technical Communication: Prepare and present technical findings and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and decision-making agility.
