About this role
Join our dynamic Legal team to protect our people agenda across the UK and international markets. As a key advisor, you will lead on complex workforce matters, helping HR and business leaders make confident decisions while embodying our core values to lead, deliver, and care.
- Lead senior-level legal support on complex employee relations, disputes, and litigation across UK and international markets.
- Formulate legal policies, corporate governance frameworks, and practical guidance for sensitive workforce issues.
- Advise HR and operational leadership on non-routine employment matters, reorganisations, and labour risk strategies.
- Define escalation thresholds, legal positions, and action plans for high-exposure matters.
- Manage external legal counsel, tribunal proceedings, and regulatory authority engagements.
- Develop templates, playbooks, and processes to streamline employment case handling and continuous improvement.
- Monitor legal developments and translate them into actionable updates and coaching for internal stakeholders.
What will you bring to the team?
- Professional qualification as a lawyer with expertise in UK employment and labour law.
- Demonstrated background advising business and Human Resources (HR) leaders on complex workforce disputes and litigation.
- Sound judgement when navigating sensitive people matters, reputational risk, and escalation decisions.
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical policies, templates, and operational guidance.
- Experience selecting, managing, and monitoring external legal counsel and authority engagements.
- Adaptability to research and advise on international employment matters in complex operational environments.
- Proficiency in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to optimize legal workflows and processes.
