About this role
Change the world. Love your job.
At Texas Instruments, we create world-changing technologies that make the world smarter, greener, healthier, safer, and more fun. If you’re pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field and enjoy analyzing information, solving problems, and understanding how businesses operate, a Corporate Audit internship at TI offers meaningful, hands-on experience.

You will gain exposure to how a global semiconductor company operates and how internal audit helps protect the business and improve its performance. You will see how internal audit connects accounting, finance, operations, and risk management.
Working alongside experienced audit professionals, you will apply what you’ve learned in school while developing practical skills in audit, data analysis, and business process evaluation. Your projects may include:
- Supporting audits of financial and operational processes, including SOX
- Learning how to identify business risks and evaluate the controls designed to address them.
- Analyzing data to identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities for further review.
- Helping document business processes and perform internal control testing.
- Gathering and organizing evidence to support audit conclusions.
- Collaborating with business partners to understand processes and discuss findings.
- Helping develop clear recommendations to strengthen controls and improve processes.
- Preparing workpapers and summaries that communicate results to the audit team.
Through meaningful project work, you’ll build your analytical skills, learn to ask thoughtful questions, and practice translating findings into actionable recommendations.
