Turn curiosity into practical cloud solutions as a Junior Platform Engineer in our Cloud center of excellence. You join an experienced team where you develop cloud platform features, build automation and grow your skills through close collaboration.
About your job
You contribute to the development and maintenance of our cloud platform, with a focus on automation and landing zones. Working from the product backlog, you start with well-defined assignments and collaborate closely with senior colleagues as you build knowledge and take on new challenges.
Job responsibilities
- Develop features and other products based on the product backlog.
- Build functionality that supports cloud platform automation and landing zones.
- Solve technical issues that arise in the platform environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in your own team and across the other teams to deliver value to the business.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in solutions and ways of working.
- Share knowledge and experience as part of the team.
Location
The location is based on-site at the World Trade Center in Stockholm.
Your profile
You have a university or vocational higher education background and some practical exposure to software development, whether through studies, an internship or early professional experience. A foundation in cloud or related technologies helps you get started, while your willingness to learn is central to your success.
Your background includes
- Experience in software development, preferably C#, and an interest in backend development.
- An understanding of infrastructure as code; Terraform knowledge is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure, and a basic understanding of security, networking and identities.
- Experience with CI/CD or DevOps ways of working, preferably GitHub Actions; PowerShell or Python Scripting is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills; Swedish and foundational Microsoft Azure certifications are advantages.
Open and proactive, you’re keen to learn, develop and take on new challenges. You enjoy hands-on problem-solving, contribute ideas and build strong working relationships both within and beyond the team.
The team
You join the Cloud Center of Excellence, which brings together Cloud Platform, FinOps and Adoption in three workstreams. Your focus is within Cloud Platform workstream, working in a small group alongside experienced colleagues in a feedback-friendly environment where people support one another and learn together.
