This is a hands-on, technically fluent product role. You will take new capabilities from concept through market validation and testing, proving their value before they are built, then turn validated concepts into clear product requirements and work with engineering on the technical design of user facing, as well as API-first products. You will support the Director and Product Management team in the development and execution of product capabilities, partnering closely with Engineering and Architecture teams to define requirements, prioritize features, manage delivery, and continuously enhance platform functionality.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, Design, and Technical Program Management teams to define, prioritize, and deliver platform capabilities.
- Apply the Working Backwards methodology to translate customer problems, business objectives, and market opportunities into well-defined epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical requirements that enable efficient engineering execution.
- Own product backlog management, feature prioritization, and requirements refinement activities, ensuring engineering teams have clear requirements, documented dependencies, defined success metrics, and delivery-ready specifications.
- Work with engineering and architecture teams to design scalable platform capabilities, APIs, integration frameworks, data models, and workflows supporting product team.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including solution design, sprint planning, backlog grooming, testing, release readiness, production rollout, and post-launch optimization.
- Partner with internal and external technology providers to define integration requirements, evaluate technical solutions, and support the implementation of third-party capabilities that accelerate product delivery and customer value.
- Leverage product, operational, and customer data to measure feature adoption, platform performance, and business outcomes, translating insights into continuous product and platform improvements.
- Maintain product documentation, technical requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and release documentation while providing regular updates to stakeholders on roadmap progress, delivery status, and product performance.
Requirements
- Relevant bachelor’s degree is preferable
- Experience/strong understanding of B2B payments, including AP, AR and virtual cards, ideally with some experience of ERP systems and partner integration
- Experience in product development or technical product management
- Technical fluency: comfortable with both software development and product management, with hands-on experience defining APIs, data flows and integration requirements
- Experience writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, including non-functional requirements such as those related to security, performance and scalability
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and build customer-centric products
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with a focus on turning insights from multiple sources into actionable product improvements
- Proficiency in tools such as Aha!, Jira and Confluence, and Figma
