What You'll Do

- Complies with community policies and procedures.

- Assist in preparation of all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.

- Follows standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Chef.

- Cleans and maintains station while practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skills. Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.

- Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station and uses equipment in safe manner.

- Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage area.

- Responsible for clean-up of soiled trays, pots, pans, cookware, dishes, glassware, and utensils, properly air dry to prevent "wet nesting" and restocking items to their specified locations.

- Sweep, mop, scrub kitchen floors as well as walk-ins and other designated areas assigned.

- Empties all trash/garbage receptacles frequently and cleans them when necessary.

- Other duties as assigned.
