We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

- Lead one or more cross-functional delivery pods, setting technical direction and supporting teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Design and guide the development of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps canvas applications, Dataverse and Power Automate cloud flows.
- Build and review Java Spring Boot microservices for secure, scalable and highly distributed enterprise environments.
- Shape solution architecture and integration approaches across Power Platform, microservices and cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Guide teams in microservice design, application programming interfaces (APIs), service communication, resilience and appropriate design patterns.
- Promote sound engineering principles, including SOLID (Single Responsibility, Open-Closed, Liskov Substitution, Interface Segregation and Dependency Inversion) and DRY (Don’t Repeat Yourself).
- Coordinate technical delivery across projects involving multiple microservices, teams and dependencies; identify risks and support their resolution.
- Champion observability practices, including distributed tracing, logging, metrics and alerting, and coach colleagues through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

To be successful, you will:

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps canvas applications, Dataverse and Power Automate cloud flows.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with the ability to design, develop and support microservices.
- Experience working with distributed systems and enterprise applications, including integration across cloud services such as Azure and GCP.
- A sound understanding of microservice architecture, API design, service-to-service communication and common software design patterns.
- Experience supporting or managing delivery involving multiple microservices, teams, technical dependencies and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of observability and production support practices, including distributed tracing, centralised logging, metrics, alerting and root-cause analysis.
- A strong grounding in software design principles, including SOLID and DRY, as well as secure development, automated testing and code quality.
- Demonstrated pod or team leadership, with clear communication, a collaborative and inclusive approach, sound judgement, accountability and a commitment to coaching others.
