About this role
To be part of the team working on firmware development of power electronic converters and I/O interface modules. Main responsibilities include firmware development and testing.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for design and development of firmware on Power electronic converter modules
- Debug on board and in system issues and provide resolution
- Understanding of basic circuit schematics for good handshaking with Electrical engineers
- Datasheet and device comparison of standard micro controllers
- Understanding of communication protocols like CAN, I2C, SPI etc.
Skills & Experience Required
- BE with power electronics focus
- Minimum of 8-15 years of Industrial or Lab experience.
- Experience with C and Assembly programming language.
- Experience on communication protocols CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Modbus etc.. Converting of messages from CAN to Ethernet, CAN to Modbus and vice versa.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python
- Knowledge of Power Supply, UPS Systems, Drives, SMRs
- Knowledge of Digital circuit, Analog circuit, ADC, DACs, OPamps, microprocessors, micro controllers & DSPs etc
