About this role
## POSITION SUMMARY
The Director, Product Management leads IGEN’s Product Management and product-delivery organization. This leader is responsible for translating IGEN’s business strategy, industry insight and platform-modernization direction into a unified product portfolio, actionable roadmaps and predictable delivery of client and business value.
IGEN is modernizing its technology platform and evolving toward a product-oriented, Agile operating model. The Director will help bring that model to life by aligning Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum leadership and cross-functional engineering partners around shared priorities, clearly defined decision rights and measurable outcomes.
The Director owns the product portfolio and product-management operating model. This includes product direction, portfolio prioritization, roadmap governance, product discovery, product-delivery readiness and development of the Product Management team. The role also provides organizational leadership for the professionals who connect product strategy to engineering execution.
The Director works closely with Technology, Industry Strategy, Architecture, Engineering, Quality Engineering, Data and Analytics, Client Outcomes, Partner Success, Sales, Marketing and Operations.
This leader ensures that product investments reflect market and regulatory needs, remain technically achievable and produce measurable value for IGEN and its clients.
Success in this position requires a leader who can operate strategically while remaining close enough to delivery to identify ambiguity, resolve competing priorities and create an environment in which cross-functional teams can execute effectively.
The ideal location for this role is in Appleton, WI, however, we are open to considering candidates within a drivable distance within the Midwest based on relevancy of experience (up to 25% travel may be required if the candidate is not in Appleton).
