Lift Operator – Warehouse
Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Lift Operators to join a busy warehouse team in Newton, NC. This position involves operating specialized warehouse equipment to move, retrieve, and store products while maintaining accurate and efficient inventory flow.
Qualified candidates must have at least 6 months of experience operating a stock picker or reach truck . Turret truck experience is a plus. Dependable attendance, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a stock picker, reach truck, or other approved material-handling equipment to move and retrieve products.
- Safely load, unload, transport, and organize warehouse inventory.
- Pick and stage products according to warehouse procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain an organized work area and follow all warehouse safety guidelines.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 65 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
- Use team lifting or appropriate material-handling equipment for heavier items.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity and operational goals.
- Maintain dependable attendance and adapt to changing workload requirements.
- Work required overtime, including additional full shifts as needed through the end of the year.
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of stock picker or reach truck experience required.
- Turret truck experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 65 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to operational needs.
Pay & Available Schedules
Option 1 – Day Shift
- Monday–Thursday
- 5:30 AM–4:00 PM
- $19.50 per hour
Option 2 – Night Shift
- Monday–Thursday
- 5:30 PM–4:00 AM
- $19.50 per hour + $1.50 shift differential
Option 3 – Weekend Day Shift
- Friday–Sunday
- 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
- $19.50 per hour + $2.00 shift differential
