Diehl Subaru of Massillon is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service department in Massillon, OH .

We are looking for a Service Advisor who can create an outstanding customer experience while helping our technicians and service department operate efficiently.
Previous automotive dealership or service advisor experience is preferred, but candidates with strong customer service, sales, or automotive backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Service Advisor Responsibilities
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and service technicians. Responsibilities include:
- Greet service customers and provide a professional, friendly experience
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs
- Prepare repair orders and explain recommended maintenance and repairs
- Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle diagnosis and repair status
- Provide customers with accurate repair estimates and completion timelines
- Review recommended maintenance and repair services with customers
- Obtain customer authorization for repairs
- Keep customers informed throughout the service process
- Schedule service appointments and assist with service-lane workflow
- Review completed repair orders and explain services performed
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
- Build long-term customer relationships through excellent communication and follow-up
- Help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, management, and other dealership departments
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask in a busy automotive service environment
- Professional and positive attitude
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Ability to explain automotive maintenance and repairs clearly
- Sales and customer-retention skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Automotive dealership experience preferred
- Previous Service Advisor, Service Writer, Automotive Service Consultant, or Fixed Operations experience is a plus
- Subaru dealership or manufacturer experience is a plus but not required
