Dishwasher

WHAT is the job : Dishwasher! A Dishwasher at the Denver Athletic Club primarily works with other Dishwashers to maintain the dishes, equipment, utensils, and kitchen work areas in an orderly and sanitary condition. They strive to maintain a clean work area, help their coworkers as needed, and are going above and beyond to be a team player. The dishwasher will clean food from plates, utensils, pots, and pans, etc. Once clean the dishwasher will restock the dishes in the appropriate area, while maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation.

WHERE is the job: 1325 Glenarm Place in downtown Denver. The Denver Athletic Club is across the street from the Colorado Convention Center, 2 blocks from the 16th Street Mall and a 3-minute walk from Civic Center Park

WHEN you would work: There are full-time hours available. We are looking for someone for mainly evening shifts, but no late-night work is needed. Weekend availability is preferred.

WHO we are looking for: The ideal candidate must have some dishwashing experience in the restaurant industry. The dishwasher must be able to work well within a team and work quickly to keep up with the pace of the kitchen. The dishwasher must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 50 lbs. They also must be able to place plates, equipment, utensils, and cookware on high and low shelves.
