About this role
Turn Data into Decisions That Support Families
At Together for Youth, we believe children and families do best when the people and systems around them work together.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll help our teams understand what their data is telling them and use that knowledge to strengthen the work we do with youth and families. You’ll serve as our primary reporting and analytics resource, partnering with operational and administrative teams to turn complex information into clear, useful insights.
Using Power BI, SQL, myEvolv, Paycom and other enterprise systems, you’ll build reports and dashboards that help leaders understand program needs, identify opportunities and make informed decisions. You’ll work closely with the people who use those insights, listening to their questions and helping them put the findings into practice.
This is an opportunity for an analytical professional who enjoys solving problems, building useful tools and seeing their work support a meaningful mission.
What You’ll Do
- Make data useful. Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports and visualizations that answer practical questions for program and agency leaders.
- Bring information together. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate and analyze data from myEvolv, Paycom and other enterprise applications.
- Start with the right questions. Partner with operational and administrative teams to understand their reporting needs, business processes and challenges, then translate those requirements into data models and reporting solutions.
- Help teams see what matters. Identify trends, patterns and opportunities that support operational priorities and longer-term agency decisions.
- Build trust in the numbers. Support data integrity through validation and quality assurance across reporting platforms, with close attention to accuracy and consistency.
- Make reporting more efficient. Build and maintain automated reporting processes that reduce repetitive work and improve the reliability of information.
- Connect insights to action. Explain findings to technical and non-technical colleagues, answer questions and offer recommendations they can use.
- Keep knowledge accessible. Document reports, queries, data sources and reporting processes so others can understand and maintain the work.
- Protect sensitive information. Follow HIPAA requirements and agency data governance policies when accessing, analyzing and reporting protected information.
What Will Help You Thrive
- Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Experience working with healthcare, behavioral health, child welfare, foster care, human services or related industry data.
- Knowledge of Paycom reporting and workforce analytics.
- Experience with healthcare billing, Medicaid reporting, claims analysis or financial reporting.
- A collaborative approach that starts with listening and turns colleagues’ questions into useful reporting solutions.
- Curiosity, a willingness to learn new systems and the ability to manage multiple priorities as agency needs evolve.

We embrace the Sanctuary Model and a trauma-informed culture grounded in open communication, emotional intelligence, social responsibility and growth. You’ll bring your technical skills to an organization where collaboration and care guide the work
