About this role
We are a rapidly growing, Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care - leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs. Come work at Elucid and be part of delivering on our mission to prevent heart attacks and strokes!
Winning a major health system takes more than a great product. It takes someone who can drive the contract, the committee, and the clock. As our first Director of Strategic Partnerships, you’ll take the foundation we’ve started and build it into an enterprise engine that puts our AI-enabled cardiovascular imaging in the hands of thousands of clinicians. You’ll set the strategy for our largest accounts and partnerships, from integrated delivery networks and group purchasing organizations to physician practices and leading imaging and health IT vendors. You’ll carry deals from first conversation through launch, coaching customers’ executive, clinical, and purchasing teams through complex SaMD buying cycles. Your deep medical imaging sales and contracting expertise, and your drive to figure out how to get the deal done, will shape where we play and how we win with Elucid.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 12+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, alliances, or commercial roles, including 6+ years selling regulated healthcare technology (SaMD, FDA-regulated software, AI solutions) in medical imaging or health IT.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Deep knowledge of the imaging and healthtech ecosystem: who the key players are, how they sell and partner, and how health systems, imaging centers, and radiology groups make buying decisions.
- A track record of originating, negotiating, and closing complex enterprise and multi-party deals (strategic customer, reseller, OEM/integration, referral, or co-sell) with large health systems, IDNs, GPOs, and physician practices.
- Commercial and financial acumen (deal modeling, partner economics, negotiation) with the executive presence and persistence to get C-suite leaders to the table and carry a deal through every stakeholder.
- Experience carrying partnerships from signed agreement through technical integration and launch, working credibly with product and engineering teams.
- Startup experience, comfort operating through ambiguity and building enterprise sales starting as a team of 1.
Work Location:
- This is a remote, field-based role. Up to 50% travel may be required for customer meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.
Salary Range:
- The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $200,000-$250,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.
