About this role

The Opportunity

We are recruiting nationwide for this Chicago-based role. The opportunity is hybrid (2 - 3 days in office).

We're seeking an experienced finance leader to lead our Finance & Accounting function and serve as a strategic partner to our CEO, COO, and executive leadership team.

Hotel Rehabs is a $50 million, debt-free national general contractor with a clear objective: grow revenue by 50% million over the next three years while protecting profitability and maintaining our debt-free position.

You're not building a finance function from scratch. We have established accounting processes, procedures, financial reporting, and a capable team in place. Your opportunity is to take this foundation, evaluate what's working, identify opportunities for improvement, and evolve our financial operations, systems, and capabilities to support our next stage of growth.

This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role. At our current size, you'll remain actively involved in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and consistent execution while helping shape our long-term financial strategy.

As the company grows, you'll be responsible for developing the team, processes, and systems that allow you to progressively shift your focus toward broader financial leadership.

This opportunity is ideal for a finance leader looking to expand their strategic influence and take on broader business leadership responsibilities, or a seasoned finance executive who enjoys strengthening businesses and helping shape their next stage of growth. We're looking for someone who brings strong financial judgment, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and wants to have a meaningful impact on company performance. Regardless of experience level, success in this role requires the ability to think strategically while remaining actively engaged in day-to-day financial operations.
