This is your opportunity to build, modernize, and lead a high‑impact team across Quality Engineering, Inspection, Metrology, MRB, and a fully capable materials and chemistry testing laboratory.  If you're energized by growth, change, and the chance to shape a site’s future, this is the role.

What You Will Do:

- Strengthen skills in RCCA, data analytics, special processes, measurement systems, and audit readiness.
- Create and execute a roadmap to elevate Quality from today’s state to a future‑ready, performance‑driven function.
- Lead CORE (continuous improvement) initiatives that reduce defects, shorten cycle time, improve yield, and lower cost of poor quality.
- Work closely with Operations, Program teams, Materials, and Engineering to ensure process capability, product conformance, and on‑time delivery.
- Serve as a key voice in planning, risk reviews, and readiness assessments as volume grows while also providing leadership for MRB, escape prevention, FAI/PPAP, and engineering changes.
- Embed CORE tools across Quality to eliminate waste, reduce defects, shorten cycle time, and improve cost of poor quality.
- Introduce data‑driven insights to guide engineering, operations, and long‑term planning.
- Build short‑ and medium‑term quality strategies aligned to site expansion.
- Track and improve key performance metrics such as escapes, FPY, MRB cycle time, customer returns, audit findings, and lab throughput while also ensuring your organization has the right tools, resources, and specialty skills to meet increasing demand.
- Support business travel up to 10%.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience
- Degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or a related technical discipline.
- Aerospace/manufacturing/quality engineering experience with AS9100 (or equivalent) and audit management.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams (with direct reports), driving cross‑functional initiatives, and managing operational challenges.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Advanced STEM degree.
- Experience transforming or rebuilding a quality organization with a background in structured root cause and corrective action.
- Strong command of tools such as PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP/FAI, and other advanced quality methods.
