What You’ll Do

As a P-3 Teacher, you’ll create a safe, engaging classroom where children feel supported, build confidence, and develop a love of learning.

- Make Learning Fun: Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity and support children’s growth.
- Help Every Child Thrive: Adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs, support children of all abilities, and celebrate developmental milestones.
- Build Family Partnerships: Collaborate with families to support children’s learning and development at school and at home.
- Create a Safe, Welcoming Classroom: Establish consistent routines and ensure children’s safety during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and field trips.
- Make Every Moment Count: Observe children’s progress, use assessments to guide instruction, and partner with colleagues to strengthen learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for educators who are passionate about early childhood education, committed to children’s success, and excited to make a difference every day.

To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with at least six courses in Early Childhood Education.
- Certification: New Jersey Preschool–Grade 3 (P-3) Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) or Standard Certificate. Candidates pursuing provisional certification must meet applicable state eligibility requirements.
- Required Clearances: Completion of required physical examination and background checks.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
- Travel: Ability to travel locally or long-distance for work-related meetings and functions, up to 10% of the time.
