High School diploma or its equivalent.
1+ years experience as Ophthalmology Technician required.
Ability to type 45 wpm.
Clean driving record, current drivers license and proof of car insurance is required.
Advanced understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations.
LASIK experience preferred.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)/Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred.
Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred. Experience in Medical scribing preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Skills/Abilities
Ability to type 45 wpm.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
