POSITION SUMMARY:
The Dryer is responsible for placing soiled items in the dryers and setting the dryers to appropriate settings. Attendants will then remove items and deliver them to the tumble fold area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Secure slings/carts full of soiled items.
- Bring the slings to the hoist area.
- Bring carts to dryer area.
- Load the dryers and program them based on the individual formula for the item.
- Remove items from the dryer.
- Place other items in a basket and deliver them to the appropriate area.
- Adhere to quality standards in terms of washed and dried items.
- Understand, observe, and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
- Assist and perform other duties as assigned.
