- Experience translating business requirements and tax rules into system, process, or transaction set-up requirements; experience with RightAngle or comparable fuel, tax determination, ERP, or billing systems strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional tax, systems, process-improvement, regulatory-change, acquisition, or strategic-growth projects from requirements development through implementation and validation.
- Ability to identify risks, evaluate alternatives, develop well-supported recommendations, and elevate significant tax, systems, or business decisions appropriately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to gather facts from diverse stakeholders and communicate clear, practical, leadership-ready recommendations.
- Experience leading, coaching, or reviewing the work of junior team members preferred.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills; experience with data tools, tax research platforms, tax determination systems, fuel systems, workflow tools, automation, or AI-enabled analysis preferred.
