- Job Location: Unit 203 - 15300 68th Ave, Surrey, BC, V3S2B9, Canada, various locations in Lower Mainland.

- Wage rate: Start from $29 per hour; To be negotiated depend on experience / 30-40 hours per week

Job Requirements
Education:
- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent work experience.
- Any additional certifications or training related to drywall installation will be an asset.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in drywall installing.
Language:
- English is required for effective communication in the workplace, including reading blueprints, interpreting instructions, and collaborating with team members.
Job Duties
- Clean and prepare surfaces
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
- Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
- Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
- Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
- Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
- Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Working setting: Construction, residential and commercial.

- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding, weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lb)
