Join LGC as a Process Lead, Supply Chain Planning, and become part of an exceptionally innovative team committed to ensuring seamless supply chain operations. This is your opportunity to influence the future of supply chain planning with a company known for its ambition and demonstrated success!
The Supply Chain Planning Manager directs planning for complex, high-impact, or strategically important supply demands. The role merges demand, supply, inventory, capacity, quality, and operational risks into practical scenarios and proposals.
As a senior individual contributor and process owner, the position serves as a subject-matter expert and a point of contact for critical issues. It influences cross-functional decisions, mentors other planners, and improves planning processes and capabilities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to capably perform each of the following essential duties:
- Direct integrated supply, production, inventory, and capacity planning for complex, high-impact, or strategically important areas.
- Convert demand, inventory strategy, and service requirements into actionable production, purchasing, transfer, and replenishment plans for complex or strategically important areas.
- Develop scenarios that measure service, inventory, capacity, cost, quality, and operational trade-offs.
- Analyze intricate MRP outcomes and direct solutions for shortages, surplus inventory, delayed supply, rescheduling needs, and schedule interruptions.
- Lead SIOP forums by presenting clear assumptions, scenarios, risks, and advised decisions for high-impact or strategically important areas.
- Predict and guide the resolution of major shortages, bottlenecks, backlog, excess inventory, and expiry risks.
- Assess service risks and recommend customer priorities when supply is constrained.
- Lead cross-functional reviews of supply, capacity, inventory, and operational constraints.
- Establish realistic supply, availability, and customer commitment recommendations, and lead recovery reviews with clearly documented decisions, owners, achievements, actions, and critical issue requirements.
- Partner with Purchasing and strategic suppliers to address recurring lead-time, delivery, capacity, and supply-continuity risks.
- Serve as the planning point of contact for complex production, material, quality-release, customer-commitment, and master-data blocking issues.
- Develop medium- and long-term capacity requirements and identify labor, equipment, testing, storage, and material constraints.
- Develop and improve production sequences, batch and campaign plans, and changeover assumptions for complex or capacity-constrained operations.
- Lead planning support for product launches, transfers, network changes, discontinuations, and other central initiatives.
- Establish and improve planning parameters, master data, metrics, dashboards, controls, standard work, governance, and cross-site alignment.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of production and supply orders, planning parameters, dates, quantities, lot sizes, safety stocks, priorities, and related ERP transactions within the assigned scope.

- Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP concepts and planning transactions plus strong data-analysis and performance-measurement skills.
- Strong knowledge of planning parameters, inventory strategy, capacity modeling, order management, master-data governance, and SIOP processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional discussions, influence decisions without direct authority, and present clear recommendations to leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SAP, IFS, or a comparable coordinated platform.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Tableau, Snowflake, or approved AI-enabled analytical tools.
