- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot sensors and monitoring equipment on the pilot manufacturing line.
- Support the collection, organization, and validation of process and equipment performance data.
- Monitor sensor outputs and process trends to identify abnormalities, inconsistencies, or potential equipment issues.
- Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve process visibility, equipment reliability, and data collection capabilities.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining monitoring systems as the pilot line evolves.
Data Analysis & Technical Troubleshooting
- Review process data to determine whether measurements and equipment outputs are accurate, consistent, and within expected operating parameters.
- Investigate unexpected results, identify potential root causes, and develop hypotheses for further evaluation.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools, software applications, and other analytical resources to support troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Recommend corrective actions and implement approved improvements in collaboration with engineering.
- Document findings, troubleshooting activities, and recommended solutions.
Technical Systems & Software Support
- Support the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of technical software and systems used in engineering and manufacturing operations.
- Assist with system administration, troubleshooting, and related technical activities.
- Configure computers and laptops, install software, and support system updates and connectivity requirements.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and system integration issues.
- Coordinate with engineering and external technical support providers as needed.
Quality Control & Incoming Inspection
- Support incoming material inspection and quality control activities, including glass and other critical manufacturing materials.
- Collect, document, and analyze incoming material quality metrics.
- Identify material defects, inconsistencies, and potential quality concerns.
- Assist in developing and maintaining inspection procedures, quality records, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to investigate quality issues and support corrective actions.
Metrology & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with the implementation and operation of additional quality and metrology tools as capabilities expand.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, measurement records, and process data.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process consistency, data accuracy, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
