About this role
Description
At Amazon, safety is our top priority. We are looking for a Manager, WHS Program Management to be part of a team delivering WHS programs across the EU network. In this role you are part of a team of program managers, own a portfolio of programs they deliver, and ensure safety initiatives are executed consistently and to measurable results. You turn the team's capability into reliable, network-wide safety outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
Own a portfolio of WHS programs the team delivers across the region. Ensure safety programs are executed consistently and deliver measurable results. Work on the team's portfolio, prioritisation and stakeholder relationships with operations and engineering. Use data and metrics to improve team performance, drive improvements, and present portfolio results and risk to senior leadership.
A day in the life
You are part of a team responsible for the WHS program portfolio across the region. Your day mixes developing your people — prioritising their portfolio, removing blockers — with steering the programs they own end-to-end. You review the team's highest-impact initiatives, make the call on the toughest trade-offs, and represent the program portfolio to operations, engineering and senior WHS leaders. You balance delivering today's programs with building your team's capability for what's ahead.
About the team

- Track record of owning a portfolio of WHS or safety programs across multiple sites or a region.

- Experience with Lean, 5S or Kaizen methodologies and continuous improvement.
- Membership of a professional body in the field of occupational health and safety.
- Experience using data and metrics (including advanced Excel and SQL) to identify gaps and drive improvements.
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.
