About the role
As a Systems Business Analyst, you will be at the centre of driving operational excellence, bridging the gap between business teams and technology solutions. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Operations, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving business systems by troubleshooting issues, delivering pricing and scripting changes, and translating business needs into actionable requirements.
Partnering closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll document requirements and collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, developers, and the Voice & AI Lead to implement enhancements, resolve system challenges, and optimise processes. Success in this role requires a hands-on, operational mindset and a passion for ensuring systems run smoothly while delivering meaningful business outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as a key liaison between business units and IT operations, ensuring business needs are clearly understood and translated into actionable system changes.
- Support day-to-day operations by troubleshooting issues, executing pricing and scripting changes, and ensuring continuity of service.
- Partner with business unit owners to gather, document, and validate requirements, with a focus on operational efficiency and optimisation.
- Develop basic user stories and collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, developers, and the Voice & AI Lead to deliver or refine solutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant Salesforce Clouds (e.g., CPQ, OmniStudio, Marketing Cloud) through Trailhead training and hands-on experience.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a business analyst or systems analyst role, ideally within a technology-enabled operations environment.
- Strong capability in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications.
- Basic understanding of Salesforce architecture and functionality, with Trailhead training in relevant clouds such as CPQ, OmniStudio, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud (or willingness to complete).
- Ability to execute and support pricing and scripting changes within operational systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business and technical teams.
