About this role

Join our diverse and inclusive Supply Chain team and be a part of one of the top Supply Chains in the world!

You'll have the incredible opportunity to join us at CBM-IT (Component Business Management – IT) and play a key role in helping Cisco's semiconductor and system suppliers adopt Cisco's B2B integration, data traceability and cybersecurity standards, and in giving Cisco trustworthy partner data, an honest performance picture and a clear view of whether each partner is ready to go live.

As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with Cisco internal IT teams and the IT teams of our external manufacturing partners, fostering an inclusive and respectful atmosphere. Much of this work is assembled by hand today; you will use AI and automation tools to take the manual effort out of it. This is not a software development or delivery role. You will not write code or deliver applications. Your job is to work with Cisco internal IT teams and partner IT teams to drive partner adoption and outcomes.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

- Serve as the primary CBM-IT operational contact for an assigned portfolio of manufacturing partner sites, working alongside the Partner Manager who owns the overall relationship.
- Run the full partner adoption lifecycle: integration design review, pre-UAT readiness, UAT ownership, cutover and hypercare, and stabilization.
- Translate Cisco's B2B message requirements into specifications a partner can build against, then verify what they built against what was specified.
- Run structured test and UAT cycles with partner IT teams: build test cases, execute them, log defects and drive them to closure. Track readiness gate criteria across active integration programs and flag gaps early enough that something can be done about them.
- Monitor partner B2B transaction flows for completeness, duplication and timeliness, surfacing anomalies before they become escalations.
- Investigate transaction-level discrepancies to root cause with Cisco internal IT teams and partner IT teams: missing manufacturing events, duplicate messages, and inventory positions that do not reconcile between Cisco and partner systems.
- Drive partner IT issues to documented closure, including formal 8D corrective actions, closing on verified evidence and not on declared status. Identify failure patterns that appear across several partners but originate in a single shared component, so they are fixed once rather than repeatedly.
- Coordinate with Cisco internal IT teams and partner IT teams so that issues, changes and readiness gates are clear to everyone involved.
- Operate the quarterly Partner IT Scorecard for your assigned partners: collect evidence, apply the published rubric, prepare draft scores for review, and ensure every published number reconciles to source evidence. As part of this, assess each partner's AI and automation maturity and encourage adoption.
- Own the automation agenda for your portfolio: identify manual data exchanges and checks that can be automated, and move partners from flat-file to structured, machine-readable integration. Your success is measured in part by how much of this work stops being done by hand.
- Use AI assistants and AI agents, alongside existing automation tools, to handle repeatable work such as test case generation, UAT evidence capture, specification conformance checking, anomaly detection and cross-source reconciliation, so each successive partner comes online faster than the last and no data integrity check is performed manually twice.
- Act as the business-side owner for AI agent use cases in your area: define the use cases and requirements for the engineering teams that build the agents, and validate that agent output is correct before it is relied on.

Who you'll work with

As a member of the Cisco IT team, you will be a valuable part of the CBM-IT (Component Business Management – IT) team. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional services, tools, platforms, and data that are essential for powering one of the top Supply Chains in the world.

At Cisco, we prioritize innovation and evolution to provide our Supply Chain team with a competitive advantage. This includes optimizing and automating business process systems and applying AI and automation tools to day-to-day operational work.

You will collaborate with Cisco internal IT teams, Partner Managers, Architects, Analysts and global delivery teams within the Organization, across various functions in Cisco, and with the IT teams of our external manufacturing partners.

You'll have the opportunity to join a dynamic, empowered, and collaborative team that values diverse perspectives and inclusive practices, all focused on driving partner adoption, integration readiness and measurable outcomes with our strategic suppliers.

We believe that embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment are key to driving innovation and achieving success. Our team is committed to ensuring that everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute their unique ideas and experiences.

The CBM-IT (Component Business Management – IT) team works at the intersection of supply chain execution and IT transformation, ensuring Cisco's semiconductor and system suppliers adopt B2B integration, data traceability, and cybersecurity standards.

We are building a Taiwan-based Partner Management team to engage closely with strategic suppliers such as TSMC, ASE, and Fabrinet. This team serves as Cisco's local presence to strengthen executive relationships, accelerate execution, and enable long-term supplier alignment.

Location: Taipei / New Taipei, Taiwan. Reports to: Partner Adoption Lead, Taiwan, CBM-IT. Coverage: assigned to one partner pod, with a defined cross-pod remit. Travel: approximately 10–15%, to partner sites in Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

Career path: This role is the entry point into Cisco's partner management discipline and opens two routes to Grade 10: a partner-facing track toward Partner Manager with full relationship ownership, or a specialist track toward Partner Integration Architect. You will receive mentorship, progressively larger partner portfolios, cross-pod exposure across Cisco's full partner base, and direct exposure to partner IT leadership. Within 2–3 years, successful candidates are expected to be ready to step up into one of these roles.

Who you are

As an experienced partner-facing IT and data professional, you have a deep interest in how technology and data move between companies. You excel at working with external IT teams to get integrations tested, verified and stable, and at checking what is actually true rather than what is reported. Your self-motivation and resourcefulness enable you to tackle complex challenges and drive practical solutions. You thrive in collaborative settings, working effectively with stakeholders to deliver growth and value across projects.

Your adaptability allows you to navigate ambiguity with ease, making you an asset in dynamic and evolving situations. You have a demonstrated ability to influence and inspire both within your team and across the organization, contributing to strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You can tell the difference between reported status and verified status, and you are willing to say so. You are interested in building a career in partner management or partner integration architecture.

Minimum requirements:

- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience.
- Experience in supply chain IT, manufacturing systems, ERP/MES operations, B2B/EDI integration, supply chain analytics, or IT operations.
- Demonstrated ability to run a structured test or UAT cycle independently: build test cases, execute, log defects, drive to closure.
- Working SQL: able to profile, reconcile and validate transaction-level data independently, rather than relying on reported status.
- Practical experience automating operational work, with a concrete example of manual effort you personally eliminated.
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and experience applying AI techniques in practical work, with good security awareness.
- Bilingual Mandarin & English with excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable working directly with external partner IT teams.
- Positive and self-starter attitude, with a strong communication and time management skillset.
- Works independently but seeks guidance from leaders when needed and determines the best approach to accomplish work. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Preferred Requirements:

- Background in semiconductor OSAT, wafer foundry, or EMS manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing execution data (work-in-process, lot and serial genealogy, binning, shipment and receipt transactions) or B2B/EDI transaction data.
- Familiarity with RosettaNet or equivalent structured B2B messaging standards.
- Familiarity with structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC) and supplier performance measurement frameworks.
- Python for analysis and verification.
- Experience operating in a matrixed global organization across Asia, US and India time zones, including preparing materials for executive-level discussions.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with resilience and adaptability.
- Good Understanding of Supply/Demand Planning, Sourcing and Contract Manufacturing ecosystem and supply chain business.
- Advanced prompt engineering skills.
- User-level familiarity with LLMs and agent concepts such as RAG, MCP and multi-agent workflows.
- Experience with low-code or workflow automation tools.
