CRS - Investment Operations Specialist

About the Role

Who said that static data doesn’t change?​

This team is tasked with the crucial role of maintaining static data across various systems within the Asset Management organization. Through diligent data analysis and optimization, we uphold the integrity of enterprise data, which is fundamental to the organization's operations and decision-making processes. ​

We maintain static data and resolve related issues in the primary following areas:​

- Counterparties that Swiss Re trades with​

- Asset Portfolios defining subsets of our investments.​

- Bank Accounts we own as well as those used by our counterparties​

As an Investment Operations Specialist within Asset Management Operations, you'll ensure data quality of our investment static data. This back-office role offers the opportunity to apply your experience in investment operations and data management while contributing to the continued development and resilience of our unit.

Key Responsibilities

- Static Data Management: Own the setup, maintenance and governance of static and reference data across internal golden source platforms and external systems.

- Data Integrity & Controls: Perform and enhance end-to-end data integrity checks, investigate discrepancies and drive sustainable resolution.

- Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Conduct complex and ad-hoc data analyses, identify root causes and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.

- Process Improvement & Automation : Identify and drive opportunities for automation, process optimisation and simplification to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.

About the Team

Our Asset Management Operations team creates an efficient operating environment that supports all financial market activities conducted by Swiss Re. As a back-office function, we ensure the seamless execution of investment processes. Our company invests in a multitude of innovative products and asset classes, including catastrophe bonds, infrastructure loans, private equity funds, derivatives and many more. About You

You're an experienced financial back-office professional with strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset. You thrive in collaborative corporate environments and possess the confidence to manage complex processes independently. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to communicate across different stakeholder groups make you an ideal candidate to lead critical investment account operations.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

- Solid financial markets back-office knowledge

- Previous experience with investment operations and/or static data management (3 years minimum)

- Excellent command of written and spoken English

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Proven track record of process and technology based improvements

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1900 EUR and 3300 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​

- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​

Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
