Program Manager in Bangalore
Requirement/Description:
Candidates with 1 to 3 years of
overall experience. A non-negotiable core requirement is a hands-on technical
software background—such as prior experience in software development (across
any language, including Java or .NET), data engineering, or DevOps—as 30 to 40
percent of their daily responsibilities will involve collaborating directly
with core engineering teams, engaging in design and architecture discussions,
and leading technical negotiations. SDLC process
Candidates should fit into one of
three specific profile buckets:
- First Preference: MBA or PGDM graduates
from tier1/2 institutions with over one year of experience (or
recent top graduates focused on pure program management), though
candidates must be explicitly informed that this role is strictly
technical program management and not a pathway into product
management. IT Professional experienc of 1 or 2 year and should have
experience in program management
- Second Preference: Software engineers
with 2 to 3 years of hands-on software background who are actively looking
to transition into program management.
- Third Preference Candidates
with 2 to 3 years of software engineering experience combined with 1 to 2
years of project management or Scrum experience. Pure Scrum Masters who
have only managed a single team are strictly excluded, as the role
requires driving program delivery at scale across anywhere from 2 to 60
teams.
