Animatesでは、リアルタイムのアニメーション、自然な会話、そして過去のやり取りを記憶する機能を組み合わせることで、キャラクターがまるで生きているかのように感じられる体験を目指しています。

今回、日本のユーザーにとってより自然で魅力的なキャラクター体験をつくるため、キャラクター設定や会話表現を一緒に考えていただけるライターを募集します。

募集ポジションについて

日本の現代文化やポップカルチャーに詳しく、自然な日本語の会話表現を得意とする キャラクター・シナリオライター を募集しています。

AIキャラクターの話し方、感情表現、性格、ユーザーとのコミュニケーションのあり方などを考え、キャラクターの魅力を引き出していただくポジションです。

一般的な翻訳やローカライズ業務とは異なり、キャラクターが「そのキャラクターらしく」話し、反応するための表現をつくるクリエイティブな仕事です。

たとえば、同じ内容を伝える場合でも、キャラクターの性格や感情、相手との関係性によって、言葉遣いや会話のテンポは変わります。そうした細かなニュアンスを大切にできる方を求めています。

長年の実務経験は必須ではありません。経験年数よりも、創造性、文化的な感性、自然で魅力的な会話を書く力を重視しています。

業務内容

- 日本のユーザーに親しみやすいキャラクターの性格、口調、話し方の設計・改善
- キャラクターごとの個性や感情、状況に合わせた自然な日本語のセリフ・会話の作成
- 日本の文化、ユーモア、コミュニケーションの特徴を踏まえた会話表現の調整
- ユーザーへの反応や感情表現、関係性の築き方など、キャラクターの振る舞いに関するアイデアの提案
- 海外のクリエイティブチーム・プロダクトチームとの連携
- 既存のキャラクターの会話をレビューし、より自然で感情豊かな表現へ改善

必須条件

- ネイティブレベルの日本語力 があり、現代の日本文化、エンターテインメント、ポップカルチャーへの深い理解がある方
- 日常会話で使われる自然な言い回し、口語表現、会話のテンポ、ユーモア、言葉のニュアンスに敏感な方
- キャラクターの個性を表現し、魅力的な会話やセリフを作成できる文章力・創作力
- 海外チームと英語でコミュニケーションが取れる方（チャット・ミーティングの両方）
- キャラクター制作や会話・セリフの執筆スキルが分かるポートフォリオ、または作品サンプルを提出できる方
- AI、インタラクティブなストーリーテリング、キャラクターを中心としたコンテンツに興味がある方

歓迎条件

- ゲーム、アニメ、漫画、映画、その他エンターテインメント業界でのライティング経験
- 脚本制作、演劇、コメディなど、会話やセリフを中心とした創作活動の経験
- インタラクティブストーリー、分岐型シナリオ、会話デザインの経験
- 現代の日本文化や日本での日常生活に関する実体験
- ロシア語でのコミュニケーション能力

ポートフォリオについて

ご応募の際は、キャラクター制作や会話・セリフの執筆経験が分かる作品をご提出ください。

ゲーム、アニメ、漫画、映画、演劇、コメディ、インタラクティブストーリー、個人制作作品など、ジャンルは問いません。

特に、キャラクター同士の会話や、キャラクターの個性が伝わるセリフ・会話シーンのサンプルを歓迎します。

商業作品や正式なポートフォリオがなくても問題ありません。

個人制作や自主制作の作品でも、創造性、キャラクター表現力、自然な日本語の会話を書く力が伝わるものであれば、ぜひお送りください。

働き方について

まずは業務委託（フリーランス）としての協業を予定しています。

リモートでの柔軟な働き方が可能です。具体的な業務範囲や稼働時間については、選考過程でご相談させていただきます。

Our characters are designed to feel expressive, engaging, and genuinely alive. We’re looking for a creative writer who can help make their personalities and conversations resonate with Japanese audiences.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Japanese Character & Dialogue Writer with a strong understanding of modern Japanese pop culture and a natural ear for everyday spoken language.

You’ll help shape how our AI characters speak, express emotions, develop personalities, and interact with users.

This isn’t a traditional translation or localization role. We’re looking for someone who understands what makes a character feel authentic, memorable, and engaging — particularly through dialogue.

You don’t need years of professional writing experience. What matters most is your creativity, cultural awareness, and ability to write natural, compelling conversations.

What You’ll Do

- Develop and refine character personalities, voices, and speaking styles for Japanese audiences.
- Write natural, engaging Japanese dialogue that reflects different personalities, emotions, and conversational situations.
- Adapt character interactions to Japanese cultural expectations, humor, and communication styles.
- Help define how characters respond, express themselves, and build relationships with users.
- Collaborate with our creative and product teams to continuously improve character experiences.
- Review and refine existing character conversations to make them feel more authentic and emotionally engaging.

What We’re Looking For

- Native-level Japanese , with a deep understanding of contemporary Japanese culture, entertainment, and pop culture.
- An excellent ear for spoken Japanese, including colloquial expressions, conversational rhythm, humor, tone, and nuances.
- Strong creative writing skills, particularly in character development and dialogue.
- Comfortable communicating in English with an international team, both in writing and during meetings.
- A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating your ability to create distinct characters and natural conversations.
- An interest in AI, interactive storytelling, and character-driven experiences.

Nice to Have

- Experience in creative writing, video games, anime, manga, film, or other entertainment industries.
- Background in screenwriting, theater, comedy, or other dialogue-driven creative work.
- Experience with interactive storytelling, branching dialogue, or conversation design.
- Firsthand experience with contemporary Japanese culture and everyday life in Japan
- Russian language skills.

Portfolio

Please include examples of your character writing or dialogue work.

We’re open to samples from video games, anime, manga, film, theatre, comedy, interactive storytelling, or personal creative projects .

Conversation design samples are especially welcome.

You don’t need a traditional professional portfolio — we’re equally interested in independent projects that demonstrate your creativity, sense of character, and understanding of natural Japanese dialogue.
