About the Role
The Executive, Quality Assurance supports the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems within DKSH's business, ensuring compliance with regulatory, certification, and customer standards. This role contributes to maintaining the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and operational integrity across production and laboratory environments.
What You Will Deliver
- Assist in the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and Halal documentation to ensure full regulatory and certification compliance
- Conduct regular monitoring, inspection, and verification activities across production and premise areas, including Pre-Requisite Programme (PRP) audits
- Conduct and monitor raw material and finished goods compliance through verification testing in collaboration with external laboratories
- Monitor and verify quality control checks during production to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety requirements
- Coordinate and maintain accurate records of calibration for production and laboratory equipment
- Initiate and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) in cases of deviations or nonconformities related to products, processes, or food safety
- Maintain and liaise with the Purchasing Department for the requisition and verification of supplier documentation, including product specifications and Certificates of Analysis (COA)
- Assist during internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections, certification body audits, and customer audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Research and Development (R&D) to resolve quality-related issues effectively
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
What You Bring
- Degree in Science or a related discipline
- Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow quality procedures accurately and maintain thorough and well-organized documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions to support quality and food safety objectives
