Requirement/Description:

Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
SAP PP (Production Planning) certification preferred.
5-8 years of SAP ECC Production Planning / Manufacturing support experience.
Experience supporting global manufacturing operations in a large enterprise environment.
Strong incident management, root cause analysis, and production support experience.
Production Planning (PP)
Extensive experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), demand management, planned orders, procurement proposals, capacity planning, and production planning strategies.
Deep understanding of make-to-stock (MTS), make-to-order (MTO), repetitive manufacturing, and engineer-to-order manufacturing processes.
Experience troubleshooting MRP exceptions, planning inconsistencies, and supply-demand imbalances.
Production Orders & Shop Floor Execution
Expertise in production order lifecycle including creation, release, scheduling, confirmation, goods issue, goods receipt, settlement, and order closure.
Experience supporting order types, control keys, confirmation parameters, scheduling parameters, and order status management.
Knowledge of production execution and shop floor processes.
Master Data

Strong experience with manufacturing master data including:

Material Master
Bill of Material (BOM)
Work Centers
Routings
Production Versions
Production Resources/Tools (PRT)
Engineering Change Management (ECM)

Understanding of master data governance and impact analysis across planning and execution processes.

MRP & Capacity Planning

Expertise in:

MRP Types
Lot-sizing procedures
Safety stock planning
Scheduling
Capacity requirements planning
Capacity leveling
Planning calendars

Ability to analyze planning results and resolve production planning issues.

Inventory & Material Movements

Experience with manufacturing-related inventory transactions including:

Goods Issue
Goods Receipt
Transfer Postings
Backflushing
Scrap Processing
Inventory Adjustments

Strong understanding of inventory impacts on production planning and manufacturing execution.

Product Costing & Integration with CO
Knowledge of manufacturing cost flows and integration with Controlling (CO).
Experience working with CO teams on:
Production order settlement
Variance calculation
Cost center assignments
Product costing
Work center costing
Integration with MM Module

Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end planning and procurement scenarios.
