About this role

Search Technical Program Managers (TPgMs) are strategic program leads and thought partners who set clear, motivated, and measurable goals for these efforts and enable development and execution of plans with clear accountability and timelines. Leveraging AI tools, we also drive automation and agentic solutions that elevate our role to be critical thinkers, people connectors, and enablers of velocity.

The Search Intelligence TPgM lead will work autonomously with senior-level executives as well as hundreds of day-to-day owners to define the problem space and opportunities.

They will need to build a deep understanding of how AI models work and the product/quality development process around them, be able to drive evals and extract loss patterns, and build the project portfolio and roadmap around them. This role also requires driving clear communication with DeepMind to align towards foundational model improvements as well as getting technically creative and with out-of-model levers to continuously improve our capabilities in delivering the best quality in answers and conversations for educational user journeys. The Search TPgM lead is also expected to drive information flow and collaboration with horizontal teams and owners so that domain evals and improvements in Education are shared regularly and leveraged to improve the overall quality of Search’s AI products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
