The Role
As a Pizza Chef, you’ll prepare and cook pizzas to Basta standards while keeping quality, consistency and speed at the centre of every service. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team in a high-volume environment where guests can see the passion and skill behind every dish.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing, stretching, topping and baking pizzas according to our recipes and standards.
- Delivering consistent quality and speed during busy services.
- Completing daily preparation and keeping your section organised and ready.
- Handling ingredients correctly, following allergen procedures and reducing waste.
- Maintaining excellent hygiene, food-safety and cleanliness standards.
- Communicating clearly and supporting the wider kitchen team throughout service.
You'll thrive in this role if you
- Has experience working with pizza, dough or in a busy professional kitchen.
- Can stay focused and consistent during high-volume service.
- Is reliable, organised and willing to learn.
- Takes feedback positively and applies it quickly.
- Works well with others and communicates calmly under pressure.
- Cares about quality, cleanliness and the guest experience.
