Job Summary:
The Job Holder will be responsible for leading and managing IT, OT, MES, L2 Integration, Automation, and Digital Manufacturing systems to ensure reliable, compliant, and secure operations across a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, operational efficiency, digital maturity, and business value.
Areas Of Responsibility:
- Lead end-to-end IT operations, infrastructure, Cyber Security and digital initiatives for the manufacturing site.
- Manage IT infrastructure, networks, servers, storage, end-user computing, software assets, backup and business continuity.
- Oversee Operational Technology (OT) systems, industrial networks, and system security controls across manufacturing operations.
- Drive the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of MES, L2 integration (IT/OT Integration), Manufacturing Informatics and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Ensure high availability and integration of PLC, SCADA, DCS, Historian, and automation systems with enterprise applications.
- Manage Quality Informatics and Laboratory Systems, including CDS and non-CDS applications such as Empower, Chromeleon, LabX, LIMS, and related platforms.
- Provide governance and support for enterprise applications including SAP, EDMS, LMS, TrackWise, and other business-critical systems.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, Data Integrity, CSV, 21 CFR Part 11 & Annex 11 and regulatory requirements; support internal and external audits.
- Lead system validation, qualification, SOP management, change control, deviation, CAPA, and other QMS activities.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, contracts and service delivery performance.
- Lead global IT/OT transformation projects at site level, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team through workforce planning, capability development, coaching, and performance management to support business and digital transformation objectives
- Facilitate effective communication, clarify accountabilities, coordinate with business owners and site management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Directly Manage site IT operation and at the same time provide onsite / offsite support to another site whenever needed.
Financial Accountability (cost/revenue with exclusive authority)
Support based on Approved Budgets for the sites – Both Opex & Capex
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related discipline.

Experience
14-18 Years in IT Operations, Preferably in Pharma Manufacturing (Injectable & OSD)
