About this role
Job Description
Just imagine turning low-volume mould innovation into a faster, more industrialised supply capability. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Senior Manager – Low Volume Moulds, you'll lead around 15 toolmakers and industrial technicians with end-to-end responsibility for low-volume mould supply. You'll connect mould construction, manufacture and production readiness, ensuring moulds produce the required elements while improving how the operation performs. You'll also strengthen global alignment and help move new technologies from development into scalable manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Applied technical mould expertise to resolve steel corrections and optimise moulding-machine performance.
- Led a manufacturing or engineering team with demonstrated delivery performance.
- Improved existing manufacturing or engineering processes through optimisation and simplification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Applied injection moulding experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Used Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve manufacturing or engineering processes.
- Built capability within a technical team when introducing new manufacturing technologies or processes.
- Worked across global manufacturing or engineering teams to align processes, share knowledge and support implementation.
What you'll build
- Lead and develop the Low Volume Moulds team, with clear ownership from mould construction through manufacturing and production readiness.
- Industrialise multi-component moulding and embed new technology into daily operations.
- Reduce lead times and costs while maintaining quality and reliable delivery.
- Build technical capability within the team as the low-volume portfolio grows.
- Introduce robust design principles and strengthen process management and business execution.
- Drive technical initiatives and make informed decisions on operational risks and priorities.
Life on the team
You'll join the Low Volume Moulds area and work closely with colleagues across Billund and LOM. Regular global collaboration connects the teams several times each week. You'll work with design specialists, moulding production leaders, peers, direct reports and other leaders across the mould organisation. The hybrid rhythm also gives you flexibility around international collaboration and meetings across time zones.
What success looks like
Your first year is about making new technologies work reliably at scale, developing the team's capabilities and improving cost and lead-time performance. Looking further ahead, you'll help industrialise multi-component moulding, embed robust design principles and take process management and execution to the next level. You'll do this alongside your team, global peers, novelty element design specialists and moulding production leaders.
