The role

The Technology Operations team supports the functional health of engineering across the firm, from recurring reporting to the governance that keeps operations running smoothly. This is a generalist role, spanning data analysis, process improvement and operational coordination, suited to someone who enjoys moving between different types of work rather than specialising in just one.

You'll own recurring operational and productivity reporting end-to-end and engage directly with senior managers on ad hoc data requests, explaining and defending your analysis rather than simply handing it over. You'll also contribute to wider operational effectiveness initiatives, such as process redesign, and hold day-to-day ownership of operational hygiene and resilience work, flagging issues as they arise.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Owning recurring operational and productivity reporting end-to-end
- Engaging directly with senior managers on ad hoc data requests
- Supporting operational effectiveness initiatives such as process redesign
- Holding day-to-day ownership of operational hygiene and resilience tasks
- Flagging emerging issues back to the Operations Director
- Building strong relationships across technology teams

- An understanding of AI-enabled development, with sound judgement on when and why to apply these tools
- Systems thinking, able to see how a metric, a process and a governance point connect, rather than analysing in isolation
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging and challenging senior managers directly
- Ability to work through ambiguous problems and identify the right approach, rather than needing the problem pre-defined
- Practical experience in a business analytics or operations setting, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong demonstrable technical capability, for example Python and
