Emerging Technology Artist

As an Emerging Technology Artist, you'll be joining an exciting team working at the intersection of creative vision and emerging technology — helping to grow this space at Black Kite alongside our Emerging Technology Creative, in a studio built around world-class VFX talent.

You will work with our Emerging Technology Creative, Creative Directors and lead artists across the studio, supporting how they develop and visualise ideas — from early concepting and pitch treatments through to execution on live projects.

Responsibilities:

- Work with the Black Kite team to generate visual ideas during the treatment and pitch process.

- You will translate creative concepts into compelling, production ready imagery.

- You will support project scoping and quoting conversations, helping production and creative teams understand what AI can realistically deliver on a brief.

- You will build and run AI pipelines and workflows — using tools like ComfyUI, Krea and Weavy AI — to generate image and video content for live projects

- You will train and fine-tune models — including LoRAs — and work across platforms such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Kling and Veo (and whatever replaces them) to match specific visual styles, director aesthetics and briefs, building an expanding toolkit the studio can draw on across projects.

- Help bridge the gap between existing high-end VFX techniques and emerging AI-driven approaches.

- You will contribute to training initiatives and knowledge-sharing for internal Black Kite teams

- You will help educate and engage clients around our emerging technology workflows and creative output.

- You will stay ahead of the emerging AI space — actively seeking out, testing and adopting new tools, models and techniques, feeding your findings back to the wider team.
