Responsibilities:

We are hiring an experienced Technical Recruiter to lead full-lifecycle recruiting for PJT's Technology function globally. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned recruiting professional to partner directly with senior Technology leadership on critical hires across engineering, infrastructure, application, data and information security. PJT runs on a public cloud, with secure networking. We have a mostly SaaS-based application strategy. AI is a growing part of our product and technology strategy.

Primary responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:

>       Own full-lifecycle recruiting for Technology hires across the firm, partnering directly with Technology leadership and hiring managers to build and execute strategic hiring plans with enough fluency in our technology environment to act as a credible partner rather than a process manager;

>       Source and engage technical talent through creative means, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, and technology specific networks and communities, for open and pipeline roles across engineering, infrastructure, software development, data, artificial intelligence, operations and information security;

>       Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and build a structured screening approach, and carry out initial technical assessments so that candidates presented to Technology leaders are well matched to the role;

>       Act as a trusted advisor to Technology hiring managers, providing market intelligence on the technical talent landscape, compensation benchmarks and competitive positioning;

>       Lead intake and business briefings with hiring managers, and drive candidate feedback and debrief sessions throughout the lifecycle of the hiring process;

>       Draft and review technical job descriptions for use on the intranet and external sites, partnering with hiring managers to accurately represent role scope and required qualifications;

>       Build and maintain a strong pipeline of technical candidates, developing long-term relationships to support both immediate openings and future talent needs;

>       Partner with the compensation team to structure competitive, market aligned offer packages for technical hires;

>       Maintain recruiting materials, such as candidate scorecards, new hire offer packets and onboarding documents;

>       Maintain applicant tracking system processes, collect interview feedback and ensure accurate data on candidates;

>       Remain current on technology recruiting trends, compensation benchmarks and competitive intelligence for cloud, artificial intelligence, software engineering, data, support, operations and cybersecurity talent markets, through ongoing market research and development of an external network.

Qualifications:

PJT Partners seeks to hire a dynamic individual who is highly motivated, intelligent and a proven self-starter. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively and a positive attitude. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:

>       8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with a significant focus on technical recruiting, ideally within an investment bank, financial services firm or executive search firm;

>       Hands-on experience recruiting for cloud, security or data roles, including screening candidates for technical depth and building screening criteria in partnership with hiring managers;

>       Demonstrated ability to source, assess and close candidates across technical disciplines, such as infrastructure, data, artificial intelligence, operations, information security and software engineering;

>       Strong MS Office skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Workday or a similar Applicant Tracking System;

>       LinkedIn Recruiter experience required;

>       Ability to multi-task, prioritize and process a high volume of work under pressure while maintaining the highest quality;

>       Ability to speak confidently and credibly in front of internal and external clients at all levels;

>       Superb organization skills and attention to detail;

>       Ability to work independently as well as a desire to work in a team environment;

>       Demonstration of a high level of integrity, discretion and professionalism;

>       Willingness to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions;
