How You'll Make a Difference
As a caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you'll provide non-medical, in-home assistance that helps seniors and veterans maintain their independence, comfort, safety, and quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Companionship: Build meaningful connections and offer emotional support to clients who value your presence.
- Assisting with Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while preserving each client's dignity.
- Offering Medication Reminders: Help clients stay on track with their medication schedules.
- Supporting Mobility and Independence: Assist with safe movement, errands, and appointments.
- Preparing Meals and Maintaining a Comfortable Home: Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.
- Monitoring Client Well-Being: Observe and report changes in a client's condition to support their ongoing care.
- Encouraging Daily Activities: Help clients stay engaged, active, and as independent as possible.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, trustworthy, dependable, and committed to treating every client with respect.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Reliable transportation.
- Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
- Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
- Ability and willingness to travel within a 20 mile radius of Freeport, Texas.
- A compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.
