Clinical Technician 2 - Infusion Center

Inova Loudoun Hospital – Infusion Center is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be Full Time | Days | Monday – Friday: 8a-4:30p | No weekends or holidays |

Clinical Technician – Job Responsibilities :

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.

• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

• May perform additional duties as assigned

Training : Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)

Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)

Virtual training modules.

On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.

• Experience : 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completing acute care clinical rotation, and actively enrolled in a nursing program

• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire

• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Strong use if IV placement
