About the Position
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee concrete construction projects from initial planning through final completion. This individual will coordinate project schedules, budgets, crews, subcontractors, and quality requirements to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial concrete construction, proven project management experience, and the leadership skills necessary to keep multiple project components aligned throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage concrete construction projects from planning and preconstruction through execution and closeout.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress to ensure work meets quality standards, schedule commitments, and budget expectations.
- Identify potential project challenges and implement solutions to keep work on track.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams throughout project execution.
- Promote safe construction practices and ensure project activities align with established safety requirements.
- Track project costs and performance to support financial accountability and successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent professional experience in the concrete construction industry.
- At least five years of project management experience with a commercial concrete construction contractor.
- Strong understanding of concrete construction processes, project scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining project quality, safety, and schedule performance.
Benefits
