Medical Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator

We’re looking for a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Medical Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator to be the face of our newest Daphne/Eastern Shore clinic. This is a full-time position that plays a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience and ensuring efficient daily operations.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-6:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am-12:00 pm (closed from 1-2 pm for lunch)

What You’ll Do:

As the first point of contact for our patients and families, you’ll be responsible for managing all front office duties, including but not limited to:

- Greeting patients warmly and professionally

- Managing patient check-in and check-out processes

- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments for evaluations and ongoing treatment

- Answering and directing multi-line phone calls

- Collecting co-pays and patient balances

- Running insurance eligibility and verification through our EMR system as needed

- Supporting the clinical team by maintaining positive and professional relationships with staff and families

- Overseeing general office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day function

What We’re Looking For:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

- Prior experience in a medical or therapy clinic setting preferred

- Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance verification a plus

- Positive, team-oriented attitude and a heart for helping others
